GEORGE LYONS ROOM
The George Lyons room can be found in the older part of the building & is named after a former trustee of the hall. The room measures, 8.87mx5.06m. It has recently been recarpeted & has had a false ceiling put in, making it a warm, modern room but keeping its character. It is a very popular room with hirers & is used alot in conjunction with the main hall for a reception room to meet guests at wedding receptions & parties. The room is also used regularly by the bridge club & art groups which use the hall, as it has its own kitchenette with tea & coffee making facilities. The lighting is similar to the main hall, with wall lighting & fluorescent strip lights fitted into the ceiling. The furniture is also the same, with the addition of some small round tables.
